Mansfield teenagers Sam Barker and James Parkinson have just climbed Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, to raise funds for the Aegis Trust’s peace-building work in Rwanda and the Central African Republic. Between them, the friends raised a fantastic £275 – and enjoyed some glorious late summer weather in the process!

“Sam and James made a terrific effort for Aegis and we really appreciate their support,” says Dr James Smith, Chief Executive of the Aegis Trust. “Whether it’s a cake sale, a sponsored run or in this case a mountain climb, supporters everywhere make a real difference to people’s lives when they go out and fundraise for our work.”
